The origin story.

In early 2026, Nick co-founded an organization that has set an ambitious goal to become a respected startup hub in the Netherlands. In the brief half a year since its establishment, it has successfully organized a number of hackathons which have led to successful startups. During this time Nick gained valuable insights that led to the decision to establish NNMC. He has since taken a step back from being actively involved in the daily operations and now fulfills the role of the startup hub’s external advisor.

The Netherlands has no shortage of talented, ambitious people who refuse to settle. Watch enough of them and the same thing keeps showing up: the builder who is exceptional technically is usually weak somewhere else. You cannot be a master of everything, nor should you aim to be. So NNMC is a team of people with different backgrounds who cover each other.

A group of strangers can meet in the morning and have a concrete MVP for a real-world problem by the evening. That is real, and it is worth knowing. It is also not a business. There is a difference between a demo-able prototype and a commercially viable product, and it takes more than your favorite tech influencer wants you to believe. We help founders bridge that gap.

A hackathon hands you a concrete problem and asks for a solution, with organizers making sure you are working on the right thing. The world is not a hackathon room. There is no handholding, and most people build first and validate demand second, which is backwards. We help founders channel their energy into the right problems.
